Autumn Song

       As you can probably tell, this is another pattern set that I had a lot of fun with. What started out as a simple dress for the September/October 2024 issue of Doll Castle News magazine evolved into an ensemble that allows you to mix and match colors, components, and accessories to create several different outfits from the same basic set of instructions.

       Designed for popular 14.5” vinyl body little girl dolls such as Wellie Wishers™, Glitter Girls®, Hearts for Hearts Girls™, Ruby Red Fashion Friends, etc. (Chest approx. 7”, waist approx. 6”), this versatile ensemble crocheted in size 10 cotton thread includes Dress with Attached Petticoat, Witch’s Hat, Treat Tote, and Purse.

       Perfect for Trick or Treat – or, work this dress in any number of variations to suit the seasons or your mood! Experiment with different colors in the bodice, or go with just one, like my Cardinal Red and Goldenrod variation (perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas at Grama’s house). Leave off the overskirt and you’ll have a cute ruffled dress. Lengthen or shorten the skirt and underskirt for diferent occasions. Change the trims on the Treat Tote to create a shopping tote or gift bag. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination!
