Post Stitch Layette Set

       I designed the Post Stitch Baby Layette several years ago for a friend who wanted to give a really special baby gift. Made in baby fingering or pompadour yarn, this set is not only pleasing to the eye, but also has a wonderful, light but warm texture. I chose extra-fine weight yarn, but if you are mindful of the gauge, a fine-weight baby yarn can be substituted.

       The pattern set consists of sweater, bonnet, booties, bottle holder, and 38" x 47" blanket, with instructions included for both newborn and 6 - 9 month sizes. Though shown in pink, it is also gorgeous worked in blue for a boy.

       Post Stitch Baby Layette appeared in Hooked On Crochet # 105, June 2004 and, as you can probably tell, this is one of my very favorite designs. It has been very difficult to find, so I am pleased to be able to offer it to you now.
