"Annabelle's Rose" Doll Blankie & Pillow Set

       Several years ago, I designed "Annabelle's Rose" Doll Blankie and Pillow Set for Taylor, the daughter of a friend. Taylor wanted a nice bed for Annabelle, her favorite baby doll. Santa brought a beautiful wooden bed with roses painted on it, and Taylor's mom asked if I could make a blanket to match. Inset photo is of Annabelle, sleeping warm and cozy with her new blankie and pillows.

       The updated set now comes in two sizes for dolls and stuffed pets! The afghan size, worked in a fingering-weight yarn, measures about 15-1/2" x 20". The matching pillow measures about 5-1/2" square. (A "fine" baby yarn would also work well, as long as you pay attention to the gauge or don't care if it works up just a bit larger). The "Blankie" size, worked in DK weight yarn, measures about 22-1/2" square -- just right for a "wrap up" for a 15" baby doll or teddy bear-- and the pillow is 6" square.

       NOTE: Yarn amounts are also given for each rnd in motif, so you can calculate materials if you'd like to add motifs to make a full-size baby blanket!
