"Springtime Babies" Baby Afghans

       Treasured Heirlooms Crochet's new series of Quick and Cozy Baby Afghans are designed in strips that work up quickly, go together easily, and create a fun-to-make, heirloom-quality gift that is also practical. Worked in baby sport/DK weight yarn, these afghans are light and fluffy yet warm for both Baby and Mom during those late-night feedings!

       "Springtime Babies" is the third set in the Quick and Cozy pattern series. Basic Instructions include directions for the strips, panel edging, and panel joining. Variations come in the widths of each panel, the yarns selected, and in the three afghan edgings. By adding a few more stitches per panel and a few more rows per strip, you can also make lap afghans, throws, and regular-sized afghans with this pattern. Detailed directions are included for each of the three examples shown.

       The pattern stitches used in "Springtime Babies" show off the new ombre yarns to their best advangate, creating an elegant look and a lighter blanket, perfect for those breezy spring days! Finished sizes are approx. 33" - 36" wide, and 42" long.
