"Vanna's Afghans and Crochet Favorites," also known as the "Crochet Treasury Series," was a subscription pattern club sponsored by Leisure Arts back in the late 1990's. The patterns were not designed by Vanna White (the spokesperson for the series), but rather by a variey of popular crochet designers. I believe that most, if not all, of the individual patterns in this series had appeared in a Leisure Arts pattern book.

Heirloom Sampler:

Pattern packets in the Vanna's Afghan and Crochet Favorites Series also contained a "Bonus Pattern," sampler blocks that, when the series was completed, could be sewn together to create an Heirloom Sampler Afghan. There were 63 blocks in all, on a total of 36 pattern cards. The Assembly and edging instructions were in the last packet of the series -- this card is pretty difficult to find.
