Laura Wheeler Pattern 1972: Filet Cloth, Needlecraft Service, Inc., 1939. Vintage crochet pattern sheet that used to be offered via newspapers, etc. Filet tablecloth with what looks like 4 colonial scenes -- chart only! These are printed on thin paper and used to be sent through the mail in regular letter envelopes, so pattern does have mailing creases. Paper is brttle and splitting along some edges. VERY FRAGILE! I would suggest photocopying or scanning graph before use.

Grandmother's Working Chart: 3 Piece Chair Set, W. L. M. Clark, Inc., 1948. Digest- size leaflet containing patterns for bird design chair back and armrests. Very pretty and unusual design. age- yellowing, fold just above center. Overall good condition.

The ABC Book of Crocheted Edges and Corners, No. 1, Asmus Bradley Co., nd. (ca 1930's). Approx. 67 edgings and 12 corners. Small tear on cover, some overall wear. Good vintage condition.

The ABC Book of Crocheted Edges and Corners, No. 2, Asmus Bradley Co., nd. (ca 1930's). SERIOUS CONDITION PROBLEMS -- Much- loved booklet. In fact, I'd call the condition of this publication abysmal! Heavy wear, front cover has hole in it, pages all detached from center staples and torn down spine so that each page is separate, small pencil checkmarks by some patterns, entire booklet folded in half. I'd put this in the recycling if it didn't have so many gorgeous patterns in it!

The ABC Book of Crocheted Edges and Corners, No. 3, Asmus Bradley Co., nd. (ca 1930's). CONDITION PROBLEMS -- Another well- loved book. Several pages split all the way up at spine and detached from staples, but all pages are here and in fairly decent condition otherwise.

Colingbourne's Edgings and Insertions, Book No. 24, designed by Virginia Snow, nd (ca 1920). "A Legacy of Old Laces Left by my Grandmother" -- more than five dozen crocheted edgings and insertions. Cover is slightly battered, small rip taped at bottom, split up and down spine to top and bottom staples. Pages in good condition -- feels more fragile than it is, I think.

Book No. 9: Old and New Designs in Crochet Corset Covers and Nightgown Yokes, designed by Sophie T. La Croix, St. Lousi Fancy Work Co., nd (my guess would be 1910's or thereabouts). Some gorgeous designs that could be used for collars, sweatshirt yokes, etc. Book shows its age -- former owner's name in pencil on back, and may have been stored where it is damp. VERY fine print!

Book No. 11: Old and New Designs in Tatting, designed by Sophie T. La Croix, St. Lousi Fancy Work Co., nd (my guess would be 1910's or thereabouts). Some gorgeous edgings, insertions and medallions. Complete instructions for tatting, but VERY fine print! Book shows its age and is somewhat fragile --small tears in cover and some pages, slight staining -- and may have been stored where it is damp.

Book No. 14: Old and New Designs in Crochet Yokes & Collars, designed by Sophie T. La Croix, St. Lousi Fancy Work Co., nd (my guess would be 1910's or thereabouts). Incredible pieces including Bridal Camisole, Night Gown yoke, corset covers, and intricate filet and motif collars. Some appear to be worked from photographs -- all have VERY fine print! Book shows its age and may be somewhat fragile -- may also have been stored where it is damp.

Very good vintage condition -- name & date on cover, slightly fragile at spine.

Crochet Designs By Ann Orr Book No. 43: Bedspreads and Luncheon Sets, designed by Anne Orr, Anne Orr Studio, nd (my guess would be early '40's). Some outstanding designs, but book has seen better days -- SERIOUS CONDIITON PROBLEMS including name crossed off on cover, page wear, cover spine ripped up and down to staples. Book looks like it got wet at one point and first two pages stuck together -- printing is somewhat obscured, but an experienced crocheter can figure it out.

Bucilla Cotton Crochet Creations Vol. 117: Bedspreads, Banquet Cloths, Scarfs, Chair Sets, & Pillows, Bernhard Ulmann Co. Inc., 1937. Intricate and beautiful designs. Book has former owner's name and date on cover, but overall, book is in very good condition for its age!

Very good vintage condition.

Crochet Charm with Famous DMC Cottons, Vol. 401, DMC Corporation, 1950. Patterns include: Les Fleurs Luncheon Set, L' Etoile Doily Set, 3 Piece Shell Doily Set, Pineapple Doilies, Alsace Lace Luncheon Set, Florentine Lace Tablecloth and Buffet Set, Filet Lace Tablecloth, Trianon Bedspread Panel and Pillow Front, Cluny Lace Tablecloth, Cluny Lace Scarf and Chair Set, L' Opera Bedspread, L' Opera Tablecloth. Bottom inch or so had gotten wet at one time; water stain and rippling. It also looks like one page had been stuck to the preceding and separated, as the bottom inch or so of page is missing. However, the problems all seem to be in the margin area and do not affect the patterns.

Easy- To- Make Edgings, Insertions, and Appliques for Crochet and Tatting, DMC Vol. 402, DMC Corporation, 1951. A variety of designs to work in several sizes of crochet cotton. This appears to have been a well-loved book -- cover is ripped at spine up from bottom and down from top to staples, some bent pages. Overall wear, but no writing or stains.
